Description
Application range: LOCTITE® 518 cures under exclusion of air between tightly fitting metal surfaces. The anaerobic surface sealing product is used for torsion-resistant cast iron, aluminum and steel flanges. Can bridge gaps up to 0.25mm and forms a flexible, chemical resistant and resistant gasket. Joints are easily detachable even after prolonged use. Typical applications include the sealing of close-fitting connections between torsion-resistant metallic sealing and flange surfaces. The product is also used for the production of surface seals on torsion-resistant flange connections, e.g. on gear and motor housings. NEW: Henkel has recently improved the product formulation of LOCTITE 518 and is now offering:- Higher strength on contaminated surfaces
